Our story

Built by clinicians who wanted ABA to feel different.

Behavior Recourse was founded in 2024 with a simple purpose: to provide high-quality ABA services while never losing sight of the children and families at the heart of our work.

2024 — The beginning

A boutique kind of care.

As a boutique-style ABA provider, we believe meaningful care begins with genuine relationships. We take the time to understand each child's individual strengths, needs, and goals while creating a supportive and personal experience for every family we serve.

Our team is built around compassionate professionals who share our commitment to quality, collaboration, and meaningful progress. We stay involved, we listen, and we care deeply about the experience of our families.

At Behavior Recourse, our goal goes beyond providing ABA therapy. We strive to be a trusted partner to every family we serve—making a meaningful difference, one child and one milestone at a time.

What we believe

Six principles that shape every session.

i.

Assent comes first.

If a child doesn't want to participate, we stop and listen. Sessions are designed to be wanted, not endured.

ii.

Difference isn't deficit.

We work toward skills, never toward "normal." Autistic ways of being are valid, and we honor them.

iii.

Parents are partners.

You'll never be on the sidelines. Training, transparency, and direct access are baked into every plan.

iv.

Evidence guides us.

Our methods are anchored in current behavioral science — and updated as the research evolves.

v.

Joy is the work.

If a child isn't smiling at least sometimes, something needs to change. Joy isn't a side effect — it's a metric.

vi.

Slow is better than wrong.

We'd rather take an extra week on an assessment than rush a child into a program that doesn't fit.
